These terms and conditions govern all bets placed on www.betaland.com, which is operated by Gaming VC Corporation Limited ("Gaming VC") 2nd Floor, palazzo Ca' Brugnera, Birkirkara - Malta. Gaming VC operates according to the Maltese Law, and it is regulated by the Lotteries and Gaming Authority under Letter of Intent LGA CL2/350/2007 issued on 22 August 2007. Gaming VC runs the Poker on Class 4 licensee - Boss Media Malta Poker Ltd LGA/CL4/206/2005, Casino on Class 4 licensee - Boss Media Casino Ltd LGA/CL4/315/2007, and the Flash casino on Class 4 Licensee - Net Entertainment Ltd LGA/CL4/184/2004.
A client is deemed to have accepted these rules by opening an account or by placing a bet with Gaming VC.
1.1 - The following Terms and Conditions are effective from 1st July 2007.
1.2 - Gaming VC reserves the right to amend these rules at any time. Any such revision will be published www.betaland.com.
1.3 - A player opening an account must register personally in their own name. The User agrees that he/she is solely responsible for all use of the Company's online gaming system through his/her Login, Password, and Security Code. The User is obliged to keep his/her Login and Password secret and confidential. The User shall not allow any other person or third party; including, without limitation, any minor, to use or reuse User's account, accept any prize, or participate in the Games. Any unauthorized use of the Login, Password, or Security Code shall be the sole responsibility of the User and be deemed as his/her use. Any liability originating from such use shall be that of the User.
1.4 - Customers located in Malta or in any other jurisdiction in which Internet gambling is illegal, are not authorised in using Gaming VC services.
1.5 - Gaming VC only accepts bets from clients over the age of 18 (or the legal gambling age in the customer's home jurisdiction, whichever is higher). The right to void any transactions with minors or defaulters is reserved. Gaming VC may carry out age verification checks.
1.6 - Residents of the USA and Turkey are not allowed to open an account with Betaland.com. It is the user’s responsibility to determine the legal status of internet gambling in his/her jurisdiction and act accordingly. The availability of the website in any particular jurisdiction does not constitute an offer or invitation by Gaming VC to use the services offered by the website. The Company will accept no liability whatsoever with respect to actions by users where internet gambling is illegal and/or which is in violation of this article of the Terms and Conditions. Gaming VC reserves the right to void transactions with minors or defaulters, the Company can request documents to verify your age.
1.7 - - Funds cannot be transferred from the account of one user to the account of another user.
1.8 - The user is prohibited from transferring or selling the gaming account to others.
1.9 - The user should ensure that the password is robust as it controls access to the gaming account. Gaming VC recommends that you choose an alphanumeric password. The safest passwords to use are those between 8 to 20 characters including letters, numbers and special characters. Keep it safe and change it every 3-6 months. Do avoid using words in a password that includes familiar names of family or pets, special dates as well as the same password on many web sites.
1.10 - Account holders are responsible to ensure that the credit card issuer allows the card to be used for gambling purposes. Gaming VC cannot accept responsibility for any action taken by a card issuer against the account holder.
1.11 - Gaming VC cannot be held responsible in any case for any damage or loss caused directly or indirectly by the web-site or its contents or by the misuse of it or its contents by a third party.
1.12 - You shall indemnify Gaming VC, its subsidiaries, employees and agents from any claims, liabilities, costs and expenses that may arise as a result of your breach of these terms and conditions.
1.13 - Gaming VC allows only one account per person. Any subsequent accounts opened under the same personal details and/or IP address that are found to be related to any existing account may be closed immediately and any bets will be voided at Gaming VC discretion. Gaming VC reserves the right to reclaim any winnings attained by these means.
1.14 - Gaming VC reserves the right to refuse to open an account without providing any explanation. Any deposit made will be refunded once they will have materially received by Gaming VC.
1.15 - Gaming VC reserves the right to close a customer's account and refund the balance of their account without further explanation. In this event outstanding bets will be honoured.
1.16 - - In order to close a betting account, clients have to send an email toinfo@betaland.com, stating their name, last name, username and by attaching a copy of an identity document.
1.17 - It is the client's responsibility to ensure that their records are kept up to date, especially address, telephone number and email address. Gaming VC declines any liability for damages that may arise as a result of failed communications due to incorrect details.
1.18 - Each customer can request to lower his stake limits or to temporary close his account by sending an email to info@betaland.com.
1.19 - There is no betting tax or other taxes attributable to clients who bet with Gaming VC.
1.20 - Where any amount has been erroneously credited on a betting account., the account will have to inform Gaming VC. Gaming VC reserves the right to cancel any winning between the date of the error to the date of advice.
1.21 - Any claim on a transaction will have to come to Gaming VC within 1 month from the day in which the transaction has been processed. Gaming VC reserves to not consider the claim if such period exceeds.
1.22 - A dormant or inactive account is defined as one on which no activity has been recorded for a period of 30 months. In accordance with LGA regulations, any funds remaining on a dormant or inactive account will be returned to the account-holder, provided that the account-holder can be located. If the customer cannot be located, the funds will be remitted to the LGA.
1.23 - In the event that a person who is not registered as a player on Betaland.com is required to recover funds held in dormant, closed, blocked and/or excluded accounts, such person may make a request in writing to GVC. GVC reserves the right to attend to any such request after a full investigation of the facts for recovery of such funds. In so doing, GVC shall, in particular but not exclusively, have the right to:
- Request guidance from the LGA;
- request any documentary information from such person; and/or#
- contact the player who opened the account with Betaland.com if such person is available; and/or
- not accede to such a request.
1.24 - In case of disputes with Gaming VC, customers can contact the Lotteries and Gaming Authority by sending an email to info@lga.org.mt or by accessing the website http://www.lga.org.mt
1.25 - All standard queries should be directed to the Customer Services Team. In the event of a query not receiving a satisfactory response, or if a customer has a complaint against Betaland, they should contact the complaints department (complaints@betaland.com). If a complaint is not resolved to the customer's satisfaction, the customer should contact the LGA (complaints@lga.org.mt).
1.26 - The sole place and court of jurisdiction for any disagreements shall be the local responsible court in Malta
1.27 - In the event of any conflict between a non-English language version and the English language version of this Agreement, then the English language version of this Agreement shall take precedence
1.28 - Gaming VC reserves the right to offer a bonus to customers' returns if the accumulator bet has the following features:
- Minimum 4 odds higher than 1.20
The standard bonus will increase the winnings by a 5% for 4 to 7 folds bets and by a 10% for 8 to 20 folds bets. Gaming VC reserves the right to suspend this promotion at any time or to modify the above percentages. Such changes will be published on www.betaland.com

1.29 - Gaming VC Corporation is not a financial institution therefore customers must not expect interest to be paid on their account balances
1.30 - Under the terms of international legislation aimed at the prevention of money laundering, Gaming VC Corporation are obliged to design and implement procedures aimed at ensuring that instances of attempted money laundering are detected, prevented and reported to the appropriate authorities. To that end, Gaming VC Corporation have established policies and procedures aimed to monitor all transactions done on Gaming VC's system
1.31 - By opening an account with Gaming VC Corporation, the customer declares:
- To use the betting account just for his own use;
- that funds used to deposit must not originate from illegal or criminal activity.
1.32 - Funds deposited must be utilised for the placing of bets or for the stake on games at Gaming VC. Any suspicious activity on an account could lead to the user being reported to the relevant authorities, freezing of the funds and even the closure of the account. Funds cannot be deposited and withdrawn to a different payment method without placing bets
1.33 - All personal data supplied on registration is kept securely by Gaming VC Corporation thanks to the 128bit SSL Certificate. Any additional personal identity information which may be requested after registration is also kept securely by GVC, but any copies of payment cards requested by GVC will be destroyed after verification
1.34 - Should any of Betaland's software-based games malfunction before a result is determined then all confirmed bets will be voided and bets that have been confirmed will be credited back to the player's account.
1.35 - Gaming VC reserves the right to withhold the balance on a Betaland account, suspend the account, void bets placed and recover the amount of any authorized withdrawals, bonuses or winnings if you are found or suspected to be participating in any form of collusion or fraudulent payment practice.
1.36 - Should a Player's device malfunction or internet connection be lost after the bet has been placed and received on Betaland's system the bet/s will be accepted and will participate in the game. The outcome of the game can be checked after the Player's device or connection are functioning properly again.
1.37 - In the case of Live Blackjack should the Player's device or connection be lost and the Player's cards are still below 16 points then another card or cards will be drawn until the points total exceeds 16 or 21. The Player will be credited with any winnings. No more bets will be placed after the connection is lost or a player does not communicate with the croupier for 2 minutes.
1.38 - The Player affirms that at the time he placed a bet or bets he had no knowledge as to the outcome of the respective game or that actions are being taken to affect the outcome of the games. Where there is a suspicion of a violation of this rule, Betaland retains the right to void the bet and refuse to pay out winnings. It also retains the right to take any further action to protect its legitimate interests and to comply with other laws and regulations.
1.39 - Winnings will be paid into the Player's account after the final result is confirmed. However, Betaland reserves the right to set aside any winnings should there be investigations into the result of a game resulting from a suspicion of criminal activities that may have affected the result of the game. If the irregularity is confirmed then Betaland retains the right to void any related bets and take any other action allowable by law.
